The Homepage has 3 view options: Feed, List, and Lessons.
The default view is the Feed view, but once you change the view it will be saved.
The Feed View
In this view, you can see the items’ preview. The fields that are displayed n this view are the fields that are marked as “Show on homepage” (on the item’s form editor).
-
To view the entire item, click on the item’s title.
The List View
In this view, you can see the items in a table-like view. That way, you can see more items at once.
-
To view the entire item, click on it.
-
By clicking on the column header, you can sort the table by date, workspace, creator, share settings, collaboration status, and starred.
-
There is no pagination, if you want to see more items you can scroll down.
The Lessons View
In this view, you can see all the items’ lessons and only the lessons.*
*(only if you have lessons field in your items)
-
To view the entire item, click on the item’s title.
-
You can embrace the lesson/ make it an action
-
The actions in the 3 dots menu are actions that can be done on the item and not on the lesson itself (Share, edit, download, delete, etc)
-
Each lesson is individual. For example: If I wrote an item with 3 lessons, I will see each lesson in a separate “box”. If it’s a collaborative item- each person’s lesson will also be separate.
-
The lessons will appear on the lessons view on the homepage even if they’re not marked as “show on homepage”
-
Draft and unpublished (collaborative items) lessons appear as well
Sort the items
You can sort the items by creation date or relevance.
-
Sorting by creation date will sort the items in ascending order, from newest to oldest
Sorting by relevance will sort the items in ascending order, from most relevant to least relevant. The relevance is based on a score that is calculated per each item according to the number of comments, embraces, stars, views and etc.
