Advanced Search

You can narrow results for complex searches with the Advanced Search filters. Specify your query so we can bring you the most relevant results.

 

Open the advanced search filters

The filters are hidden by default. To use the filters, click on the filter icon.

There are 9 filters: 

• Workspaces filter

• Users filter

• Date range filter

• Item type filter

• Topics filter

• Tags filter

• Fields filter

• Share settings filter

• Quick filters (show only)

*The filters act differently between the Feed & List Views and the Lessons View. The lessons view Advanced Search logic will be described below.

 

The Workspaces filter

Select the workspaces from which you want to see items

 

The Users filter

Select the users of which items you want to see (=written by these users)*.

*If your items have the User List field, the results will also show items that were written on these users.

 

The Date Range filter

Select the range of dates from which you want to see items.

 

 

The Item Type filter

Select the type of items that you want to see (personal/ collaborative)

The Topics filter

Select the topics of the items that you want to see

 

The Tags filter

Filter the items according to the tags that have been selected

 

The Fields filter

Filter the items according to the fields that have been answered/ options that have been selected

 

The Share Settings filter

Filter the items according to the share settings that have been selected

 

Quick filters (show only)

Select which items to show:

Good to Know

• To apply the search, click Apply

• To clear the search, click Reset
  

• If no results were found, try to broaden your search

 

Lessons View

Advanced search logic:

• All workspaces: shows the lessons from the selected workspace/s

• All users: lessons created by the selected person/people (or on them, if it’s an item with the User List field)

• Date range: the lessons from the selected time frame (refers to the item’s creation date)

• All types: shows only the lessons from items with the relevant status

• All topics: shows only the topics of lessons

• All tags: shows the lessons with this tag/s only

• All fields: shows the lessons from the items with the selected field/s

• Show only:

  • Lessons– hidden in lessons view (you will not see this option)

  • Embraced (by me/ others)- only the embraced lessons (not items)

  • Starred– will show the lessons from starred items

  • My drafts– not available in the lessons view

  • With comments– will show the lessons from commented items

  • With actions– will show only the lessons that were marked as “make it an action”

• Free text search: shows only the lessons from the items with the text (anywhere in the item)

• X results found= amount of lessons found

• Results note: when the results of the lessons that are shown are from items that  match the search there will be a note about it
