The Homepage has 2 view options: list view and expanded view.
The default view is the expanded view, but once you change the view it will be saved.
The Expanded View
In this view, you can see the items’ preview. The fields that are displayed n this view are the fields that are marked as “Show on homepage” (on the item’s form editor).

To view the entire item, click on the item’s title
The List View
In this view, you can see the items in a smaller and limited view. That way, you can see more items at once.
