Each workspace might have a different item layout, with different field types.
The following guide will describe the different types that you may see on your item.
Titles & Subtitles
The titles and subtitles fields are pre-defined fixed texts.
Date picker
Select any date, future, or past.
Short answer
Write free text in a few sentences (up to 1000 characters).
You can format your text using the rich text editor.
Paragraph
Write free text (no character limit).
You can format your text using the rich text editor.
It may include tags (if they were added in advance to this form) which you can add by clicking on them.
Lessons
Write your lessons and insights (free text, up to 500 characters).
You can add up to 5 lessons. To add a new lesson, click Add Lesson.
You can format your text using the rich text editor.
Add tags by clicking on them.
You can also assign lessons as actions (tasks) for others, by clicking “Make it an action”.
Dropdown
A field with a closed list of options. Select one or more of the options, depending on the dropdown type (single/ multiple choice, defined by the workspace’s admin on the item form editor).

Cascading dropdown
A field with a closed list of options where selecting one of the options opens another set of fields.
That means it is a dependent field, with hierarchies (there can be few levels of hierarchies).
Users list
This is a dropdown field containing a user list that was pre-defined in the item form editor.

Single choice
You can choose between a set of options.
You can only choose one option.
Unselect an option by re-clicking on it.
It may include a progress indicator, in case it was set in the form editor by the admin/ manager:
Checkboxes
You can choose between a set of options.
You can select more than one option, and unselect it by re-clicking on it.
It may include a progress indicator, in case it was set in the form editor by the admin/ manager:
Scale
This is a closed-ended type of field, where you can choose an answer from a set of answer options—either numeric and/or verbal.
You can select one option, and unselect it by tapping again.
Numeric field
This is a numbers-only field. You can type numbers only.
Table
The table field has between 2-5 fixed columns (set in advance), with free text and/or dropdown cells in each column (as set on the item form editor).
You can add and delete rows as you want.

On the dropdown columns, you will be able to select one of the dropdown options

On the free text columns, you can use the rich text editor on the free text component

To add rows, click Add row
Required fields
Some fields may be required. That means you won’t be able to publish the item without answering them.
Tooltips
Some fields may have tooltips to provide you with additional information about the field/ option.
Restricted fields
Some fields may be available only for owners/ collaborators (in collaborative items)
Plan vs Actual
Some fields may have a progress indicator (closed-ended fields only)
